Lance Wilkinson

Lance Hails was the first member of the Wilkinson family to appear in Ramsay Street. He was a school friend of Hannah Martin and tried to impress her by giving her expensive gifts which turned out to be his mother's jewellery!

Lance returned some time later with his mother Ruth and twin sister Anne, when they moved into No.32 Ramsay Street. By then he had become Lance Wilkinson (the family changed their surname when his mother divorced her first husband).

After a long period of being treated as a fool at school, Lance gained some respect by getting one of the most popular girls at school, Amy Greenwood, to be his girlfriend. Their long standing relationship mostly results in him begrudgingly following her instructions.
